Role Overview

Role Purpose
Oversee project control functions across large-scale construction projects. Develop and implement effective project strategies and processes, leveraging expertise in project management and control to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics
- Implement best practices in project controls to optimize project outcomes
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance, identifying any variances from established objectives
- Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders
Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project issues
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to project control processes
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of proven experience in project control within large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Earned Value Management
- Experience in leading project control strategies is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in project scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
