Role Overview
Senior Procurement Manager - RU at JASARA PMC, leading procurement operations within the Russian Unit.
Role Purpose
To lead procurement operations within the Russian Unit by managing procurement activities, developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, and ensuring the delivery of goods and services in alignment with project and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to the Russian Unit's requirements.
- Monitor market conditions and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities.
Procurement Operations
- Manage end-to-end procurement functions including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and align procurement activities accordingly.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and local regulations within RU operations.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor procurement team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 10 years of procurement experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the Russian market.
- Experience working within or managing procurement processes in Russia or similar regulatory environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, contract management, and supplier negotiation.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
