Role Overview
Senior Passive Fire Protection Engineer at Jotun, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role reports to the Infrastructure Manager.

Role Purpose
Manage and prepare quality fire engineering support independently on assigned projects to enable sales to secure business. Certain defined project types will be quality-checked by Senior Engineer or Fire Engineering Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Project Estimation and Delivery
- Conduct project takeoff and estimation for assigned Steel master and Jotachar enquiry projects on a daily basis for both hydrocarbon and cellulosic projects.
- Provide timely return of Fire Engineering services at required quality on assigned cellulosic and hydrocarbon projects to sales and external customers.
- Prepare Plan Swift marked-up drawings as required by project and customers.
Technical Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate with the Global Fire Engineering Service team on all technical specifications of Steel master and Jotachar products to the Jotun sales network.
- Ensure technical and regulatory compliance is followed across all assigned work.
Sales Support
- Assist sales in technical discussions to respond to customer needs and position Jotun as preferred supplier.
- Provide support to sales account responsible for winning projects by giving quick and proper analysis of the project, competition and assisting in discussions with customers.
Engineering Expertise
- Implement structural and fire engineering principles in all deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of intumescent fire protection industry.
- Trained in implementing structural and fire engineering principles.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
