Role Overview

Senior Operator – CCL at AL GHURAIR.

Role Purpose

Ensure safe, efficient operation of coated coil line (CCL) equipment from entry through exit, maintaining production targets and quality standards while managing team communication and responding to operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Safety

• Ensure safe and smooth operation of all entry-end equipment including uncoiler, stitching, and tension.
• Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure machinery is in good working condition.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during coil handling, cutting, and changeovers.
• Follow established operating procedures to ensure production targets are met.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect coated coils for surface defects, gloss level, color shade, and edge quality.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including output quantities and machine performance data.
• Lead shift handover meetings with proper documentation.

Team Coordination & Troubleshooting

• Communicate effectively with coating, entry, and maintenance teams for smooth line operation.
• Quickly respond to line stoppages or mechanical and electrical issues at exit and entry sections.
