Role Overview

Senior Officer – Cash Operations at Transguard Group in Dubai. The role coordinates all cash operations activities within the region, supporting the Operations Manager – Cash Operations in planning and organizing both operational and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures.

Role Purpose

Oversee daily cash operations across Dubai, managing route planning, service delivery, customer coordination, and operational compliance for over 200 cash vans and 3,000+ daily services while maintaining service level agreements and identifying process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance

• Ensure attainment of agreed SLAs for all planned and emergency services performed daily.
• Continuously monitor route performance and initiate actions to maintain and improve route efficiency.

Customer Management

• Coordinate timely and reliable Cash in Transit, ATM, Cash deposit machines, Smart Cash deposit machine, Road and Transport Authority, and Kiosks services to meet customer expectations.
• Address service-related customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate information to customers and resolve issues effectively.
• Monitor daily services to ensure completion within SLA and maintain an updated inventory of customers.
• Coordinate with over 50 ATM and CIT customers during daily service delivery.

Operations & Planning

• Support the Operations Manager – Cash Operations for Dubai, ensuring smooth conduct of operations and regular progress updates.
• Focus on urgent, emergency, and prerequisite services requested by customers.
• Coordinate and oversee Dubai Cash operations, including route and service planning, task delegation to Operations supervisors, annual leave planning, and stationery requisition from banks.
• Plan and deploy over 200 cash vans daily according to geographic routes.
• Monitor 3,000+ services performed daily.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and regulatory instructions, including proper usage of PPE and Cash Boxes.
• Identify and resolve issues such as traffic congestion, accidents, or mechanical failures to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize route efficiency and productivity.
• Implement innovation processes approved by the Operations Manager and suggest further improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the security industry with a focus on cash services.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of ATM, Cash deposit machine, Smart Cash deposit machines, and Cash in Transit and VIT operations.
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory laws pertaining to cash operations.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in reporting, customer management, and performance management.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
