Senior Network Security Engineer -(Saudi National)- Riyadh, KSA

Role Overview

Senior Network Security Engineer position with DeepSource Technologies in Riyadh, KSA. This role requires Saudi National status.

Role Purpose

Operate, monitor, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure in a business-critical financial services environment, delivering independent troubleshooting and incident resolution while ensuring high availability and compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network security infrastructure.
• Manage and support security solutions in a financial environment, ensuring high availability and security.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

Incident Management

• Perform incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of network security issues.
• Support security incidents and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.

Policy & Configuration

• Implement security policies, configurations, changes, and upgrades in accordance with approved procedures.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with internal IT, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in network engineering and application delivery.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security operations, preferably within financial services or banking environment.
• Solid background in Cisco networking.
• CCNA/CCNP certification is a strong plus.
• At least two relevant professional certifications required at time of joining.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on operational experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls.
• Hands-on operational experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
• Hands-on operational experience with F5 Load Balancers.
• Forescout NAC experience (good to have).
• Proofpoint Email Security / Mail Gateway experience (good to have).
• Strong operational and troubleshooting expertise across enterprise network security technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a business-critical environment.
• Certifications related to Network Security, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Forescout, Proofpoint, or other relevant cybersecurity technologies are preferred.
