Role Overview
Senior MEP Testing & Commission Officer at JASARA PMC. JASARA PMC is a leading program management company dedicated to delivering excellence in all aspects of project execution.
Role Purpose
The Senior MEP Testing & Commission Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the successful testing and commissioning of MEP systems for major projects, contributing to the success of high-profile projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Commissioning Strategy
- Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies for MEP systems.
- Conduct and oversee testing activities, including functional testing, performance testing, and integration testing.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient testing and commissioning processes.
- Coordinate with design and construction teams to resolve any technical issues during the testing and commissioning phase.
Quality Assurance & Analysis
- Analyze test results and identify any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project requirements during testing and commissioning activities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test reports and commissioning records.
Team Leadership & Support
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior testing and commissioning staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of MEP systems, with a focus on major construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration within construction projects.
- Experience in developing and executing comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in industry standard testing equipment and software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards for MEP systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
