Senior Medical Representative at Abbott, based in the Kuwait office within the Established Pharmaceutical division.

Role Purpose
Promote Abbott's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals in Kuwait, educate them on product value to patients and customers, and drive consistent sales growth and territory achievement through effective relationship-building and market engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Management
- Promote the company's products to healthcare professionals to educate them on the value that products bring to patients and customers in Kuwait.
- Ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in the assigned territory.
- Identify new opportunities and gain new business while maintaining existing business.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
- Carry out effective sales calls, targeting high sales hospitals for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain a daily track record of sales calls.
Customer Relationship Management
- Understand customers' needs and requirements and effectively communicate product benefits and address customer concerns.
- Establish and develop relations with key personnel in all accounts in the assigned territory.
Knowledge & Market Intelligence
- Ensure mastery of product knowledge related to the company's products as well as competitive products available in the market.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.
Tools & Reporting
- Effectively use tools and resources (SFA/SFE) to ensure achieving planned coverage, frequency, and call rate for the assigned customers' list.
- Provide reports to supervisor regarding territory status, to include forecasts, proposals, and business reviews.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all the company's policies and codes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational qualification in pharmaceutical or medical science.
- 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales in Kuwait.
- Valid residency visa in Kuwait.
