Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development, Commercial & New Payment Flows at Mastercard. This is an active team member role contributing to sales targets and opportunity generation and closure with Mastercard's clients.

Role Purpose

The Senior Managing Consultant is expected to be an expert in Commercial payments and new payment flows topics, demonstrating consultative sales management experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day relationships with senior commercial clients, CFOs, and treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Relationship Management

• Engage in effective working relationships with internal and external clients.
• Capture clients' implicit business needs in addition to articulated requests and identify the most critical aspects of the problem to be solved.
• Lead formal and informal pitches, from storyboarding through face-to-face presentation.
• Create concise, persuasive written materials tailored to the audience level.
• Effectively manage a pipeline of proposals from early lead stages through to signature.
• Deliver on sales numbers.
• Proactively seek new knowledge and skills and facilitate the development of intellectual capital.

Project Delivery & Team Leadership

• Coach and provide feedback to team members.
• Support the project team in problem-solving efforts and structuring project work plans.
• Support the project team in formulating, articulating, and prioritizing project activities.
• Support the project team in creating and delivering concise, persuasive, and compelling presentations.
• Oversee the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of analyses.
• Develop conclusions and recommendations.

Information Security

• Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices.
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information being accessed.
• Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
• Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree required.
• MBA or relevant post-graduate degree preferred.
• Must have corporate/wholesale bank experience in payments and cash management.
• Strong business development oriented experience.
• Work experience in management consulting, particularly exposure to treasury consulting, is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing projects and teams.
