Senior Manager - Procurement & Commercial - MBS Stadium (STA-018)

Role Overview

Senior Manager - Procurement & Commercial for the MBS Stadium project at Qiddiya Investment Company. This role is based on the MBS Stadium development and focuses on driving procurement excellence and post-contract commercial management, with an initial emphasis on large-scale architectural and facade packages.

Role Purpose

Lead procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure the delivery of architectural and facade elements in line with project quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to integrate procurement strategies with overall project objectives and manage post-contract performance.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute procurement and commercial strategies specifically for architectural and facade components of the MBS Stadium project.
• Lead tendering processes, supplier evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation for architectural and facade works.
• Coordinate with project and design teams to understand requirements and ensure procurement plans support project schedules.

Supplier & Contract Management

• Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Monitor contract deliverables and resolve commercial issues promptly to minimize project impact.

Cost Control & Risk Management

• Implement cost control and risk management measures throughout procurement and contract management activities.

Leadership & Reporting

• Provide leadership and mentoring to procurement and commercial team members involved with architectural and facade works.
• Report procurement and commercial performance metrics regularly to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement and commercial management, with exposure to large-scale architectural and facade packages.
• Proven experience managing large-scale procurement projects within stadiums or major infrastructure developments.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and facade materials, construction methods, and market suppliers.
