Senior Manager, Leasing

Role Overview

Senior Manager, Leasing at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Asset Management, based in UAE.

Role Purpose

Manage and maximize leasing revenue for the assigned portfolio while ensuring implementation of best practices, overseeing the performance of the Leasing team, and managing key tenant relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Portfolio Management

• Own accountability for maximizing leasing revenue for the assigned portfolio.
• Review asset-level Leasing Plans for the assigned portfolio based on leasing policies, procedures, and guidelines set by Senior Manager Business Unit Corporate Leasing.
• Provide input and feedback to the Leasing team based on communicated guidelines and policies.

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Support the Asset Management team in defining three-year plans with short-term, mid-term, and long-term objectives.
• Develop asset-level strategy and oversee successful execution of leasing plans.

Leasing Operations & Contracts

• Provide inputs and supervise the Leasing team in preparing agreements, negotiating contracts, and managing lease renewals for assigned assets.
• Manage relationships with major tenants and actively search for new tenants.
• Coordinate with the line manager as necessary for guidance and advice on tenant matters.

Financial & Administrative

• Provide inputs to the line manager for the development of leasing budgets and consolidate for submission to Senior Manager Business Unit Head of Leasing for approval.

Governance & Escalation

• Escalate major issues and concerns of the leasing team to the line manager as appropriate for timely resolution.

Strategic Input

• Provide inputs to feasibility studies as requested, including estimated rental value and potential tenant mix.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent field.
• Minimum 9–11 years of progressive experience managing all aspects of the Leasing function in a highly dynamic organization, preferably in Retail, Large Shopping Malls, or major Real Estate in GCC or abroad.
