Role Overview

Senior Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis (CORS 251) at Qiddiya Investment Company. This role leads project controls and financial governance across assigned projects or portfolios.

Role Purpose

Lead project controls and financial governance across assigned projects or portfolios, ensuring robust oversight of contracts, budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting. Provide strategic financial insight, strengthen control frameworks, and support senior leadership in informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Contract and Change Management

• Manage contract variations, change orders, and extension of time and cost claims, ensuring proper evaluation, documentation, approvals, and reporting.

Budget and Contingency Control

• Oversee utilization of project contingencies and provisional sums, ensuring disciplined budget control and alignment with approved business cases.

Cost Monitoring and Forecasting

• Direct cost monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing clear insights and mitigation strategies to senior management.

Data Integrity and Systems

• Ensure integrity and reconciliation of data across SAP, Primavera P6, Unifier, BIM, and related systems.

Financial Close and Reporting

• Oversee monthly accrual reviews and financial close activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Schedule and Integration

• Provide high-level oversight of schedule changes and integrated cost and schedule impacts.

Risk and Opportunity Management

• Lead risk and opportunity reviews, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and escalation of key exposures.

Stakeholder Alignment

• Act as a senior liaison between Finance, Commercial, and Project Delivery teams to ensure transparency and alignment.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide project controls teams, promoting governance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8 or more years of experience in Project Controls or Development Finance as part of a large construction company, large developer, or PMC.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge or certification on project tools: Primavera P6, Unifier, SAP project module (required).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• CPA or MBA certification (preferred).
• Certificate in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution – RICS or similar (preferred).
