Senior Manager - Enterprise Applications Architecture at QNB, based in Doha, Qatar. The role sits within the Information Technology division.

Role Purpose
Manage and oversee IT enterprise Application Architecture in development and production environments. Re-engineer existing and new IT applications and products to optimize performance, implement latest design standards, and adopt latest technologies. Select the best development platform and ensure user requirements are met by the latest and most effective tools available in the IT market.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture
- Manage and oversee IT enterprise Application Architecture across development and production environments.
- Oversee re-engineering of existing and new IT applications and products to optimize performance.
- Implement latest design standards and adopt latest technologies.
- Select the best development platform.
- Ensure user requirements are provided by the latest and most effective tools available in the IT market.
Qualifications & Experience
- University graduate with a major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Information Technology; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
- Specific courses in IT Security and Enterprise Architecture.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic, including report writing.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
- Ability to make decisions and follow through with initiatives.
- Personal integrity and self-management.
- Planning, organising, and analytical ability.
- Results oriented.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management.
- Strong Enterprise Architecture documentation skills.
