Role Purpose

Administer, configure, and maintain Liferay DXP and Liferay Portal environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance. Manage system deployments, infrastructure, and provide technical support to development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Maintenance

• Administer, configure, and maintain Liferay DXP and Liferay Portal environments.
• Manage installation, upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Maintain system documentation and provide technical support.

Performance & Availability

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Optimize database performance including MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Configure and manage Liferay clusters and load balancing.

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Handle server configurations including Apache Tomcat, JBoss, and related application servers.
• Manage deployments through CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and incidents.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in Liferay administration.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay DXP and Liferay Portal.
• Hands-on experience with application servers including Tomcat and JBoss.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of deployment processes.
• Strong knowledge of system integration.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and Java basics.
