Role Overview
Senior Java Developer at BlackStone eIT. This is a full-time position with an innovative and dynamic software development team.
Role Purpose
Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications that meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
Collaboration & Code Quality
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in team knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their skill development.
Professional Development
- Stay updated with emerging Java technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency with Java 8+ and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
