Senior IT Security Officer for VAM Systems, Bahrain.

VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore, and India.

Role Purpose

Protect the organization's information security posture by managing access controls, security incidents, risk assessments, compliance activities, and security awareness across core systems and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Access Control & System Security

• Conduct and review periodically access control lists of core systems.
• Review IT projects for security controls that can or need enhancement.

Incident & Threat Management

• Review all security events and logs to identify and mitigate security threats on a weekly basis.
• Review and follow up on vulnerability assessment and penetration test reports.

Risk & Compliance

• Manage and conduct IT Risk Assessment.
• Follow up with Internal Auditor and ensure that security recommendations have been implemented.
• Review and create all information security related policies and procedures.

Disaster Recovery & Continuity

• Ensure Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans are up-to-date and exercised periodically.
• Produce all documentation related to conducted DRPs.

Security Awareness

• Enhance and conduct Information Security Awareness program.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 6 years of experience required.
• Domain: Insurance.

Additional Information

• Joining timeframe: 4 weeks.
• Selected candidates will be stationed with VAM Systems – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading organizations in Bahrain.
