Senior IT Procurement Officer at ADIB, Abu Dhabi. UAE Nationals only.

Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for the Information Technology Department and act as Senior Buyer for the IT category.

Receive RFQs and RFPs from IT requesters and solicit proposals from vendors.
Conduct vendor communication and negotiation.
Attend meetings with senior stakeholders and vendors.
Prepare procurement plans with end users.
Create contracts for all engagements and negotiate terms and conditions with vendors.
Create and issue purchase orders to vendors for execution and delivery.
Coordinate with IT and VMCP for vendor registration and vendor account updates.
Initiate SPM for all engagements.
Ensure closure of all open purchase orders.
Support vendors for pending payments by coordinating with requester and FCD.
Optimize utilization of SAP Ariba, including RFP, Contract Workspace, and Reverse Auction functions.
Maintain proper and intact vendor communication at all times.
Fully adhere to VMCP policies and procedures and support line manager in closing audit points.
Provide subject matter expertise to suggest process enhancements and achieve cost savings.
Accommodate all IT-related procurement requests in a timely manner to avoid delays.
Serve as SME in all meetings and deals with internal and external stakeholders.

Lead contract drafting, review, and execution with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and maintain the Contract Database.
Ensure proper archiving of procurement files.

Provide assistance to all internal customers and other categories managed by VMCP.
Perform additional tasks as required, including attending meetings, attending calls, and preparing reports.
Ensure that good controls are maintained in all department-related functions.
Keep the Department Head informed of all issues raised within the department.
