Role Overview

McDermott is seeking a Senior IT Pillar Specialist to support IT systems and operations for its regional engineering and construction projects based in Dubai.

Role Purpose

Support and maintain IT systems and infrastructure across project sites and offices, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and security standards while enabling effective collaboration and data management for project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Support & Maintenance

• Support and maintain IT systems across project sites and offices
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues raised by project teams
• Coordinate IT infrastructure deployment for new project mobilizations

Governance & Security

• Ensure IT systems align with corporate governance and security standards
• Maintain accurate IT asset and configuration records

Infrastructure & Integration

• Liaise with global IT teams on system integration and upgrades
• Support project data management and collaboration platforms

Stakeholder Support

• Provide IT training and support to project personnel

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of IT specialist experience, ideally within an engineering or construction environment
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure
• Experience supporting multi-site project environments

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder support skills
• Fluency in English required
