Role Overview
JASARA PMC is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join the team. This role is based at the company's location and involves leading the analysis and documentation of complex business processes while working closely with stakeholders to develop IT solutions that meet strategic objectives.
Role Purpose
To provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology implementations. The role focuses on translating complex business requirements into clear technical solutions while facilitating communication across technical and business units.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business stakeholders to identify needs and objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and design documents.
- Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure shared understanding and resolve issues.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in business analysis methodologies.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Support testing activities by developing test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing.
Strategic Development
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5–8 years of experience in business analysis within IT environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex requirements gathering and project documentation.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
