Role Overview

Senior Investigator - Investigations at Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, approximately 50 miles from Dubai International Airport.

Company Overview

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, set to open in 2027. The resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. Amenities include multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

Role Purpose

To conduct complex and sensitive investigations, accurately document incidents and events, and collaborate with internal departments and external authorities to maintain security and minimize liability across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

Investigations & Incident Response

• Conduct complex and sometimes sensitive investigations.
• Determine when incident reports are required based on liability, criminal acts, or safety issues.
• Correctly identify affected persons and potential witnesses involved in incidents and events.
• Assist with scene management during initial responses to security incidents.
• Follow proper procedures for handling incidents, including obtaining photos and notifying management.
• Assess guest or employee conditions and provide emergency medical assistance if necessary.
• Become familiar with hazardous materials and related regulations on property.

Documentation & Reporting

• Accurately document all incidents and events in complete security incident reports.
• Generate written reports on security-related incidents involving guests, staff, or property.
• Proofread and prepare incident reports for Security management approval.
• Contribute to departmental accuracy, confidentiality, and thorough record-keeping.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and private information.

Systems & Evidence Management

• Utilize the Mission Control system to enter, update, and manage incident reports and related files.
• Learn and effectively utilize the ITrak incident management program.
• Effectively utilize other proprietary software and programs connected to investigations.
• Properly collect, secure, and log evidence, ensuring proper chain of custody.
• Identify and use all relevant forms and documents during preliminary investigations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Effectively engage and collaborate with UAE federal and local authorities.
• Assist outside agencies such as police and regulatory authorities as needed.
• Collaborate with other investigative departments to share details and information.
• Work with guest claims and risk management to minimize company liability while upholding service standards.
• Maintain open communication with shift and department management about incidents.
• Support supervisors, managers, and other departments with incident notifications and assistance.
• Manage internal and external guest relations with patience and diplomacy.
• Offer follow-up and contact information to affected guests and employees.

Team Support

• Assist in training team members as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 21 years of age required.
• Comprehensive investigative experience required.
• Prior investigations or law enforcement background preferred.
