Role Overview

Senior Infrastructure Architect at DeepSource Technologies, Riyadh, KSA. This is a Saudi National position.

Role Purpose

Serve as the technical subject matter expert and primary point of contact for infrastructure projects. Lead the technical implementation, coordinate vendor teams, and ensure cloud technology deployments meet functional and performance requirements while transferring knowledge to the client's IT team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Subject Matter Expertise

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert and point of contact for the project
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development
• Lead and coordinate the activities of vendor technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
• Demonstrate experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior team members

Implementation & Deployment

• Collaborate with the project manager to develop and execute the technical implementation plan
• Ensure the deployment and configuration of cloud technologies meet the project's functional and performance requirements
• Support the testing and validation of implemented solutions, working closely with project stakeholders
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to the client's IT team, enabling them to effectively manage and maintain deployed systems

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify and mitigate technical risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and procedures

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly with Red Hat OpenStack, Palo Alto Networks, F5, and IBM Watson Cloud Pak
• Thorough understanding of the local IT landscape and cultural nuances in Iraq to effectively lead technical initiatives and drive successful outcomes
• Demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior team members
• Experience in the deployment and integration of complex, multi-vendor IT solutions

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
