Role Overview

Senior HR Manager, KSA at Mondelēz International, located in Saudi Arabia (KSA). This is a regular, full-time position reporting to the Senior People Lead and embedded within the KSA Commercial Leadership Team.

Role Purpose

This role is critical to commercial growth ambitions in KSA. You will act as a trusted people partner to the KSA Commercial Director and Commercial Leadership Team, embedding the people agenda into commercial strategy and decisions. You will shape a locally rooted, globally competitive, consumer-obsessed commercial workforce positioned to win at every point of sale across the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Transformation

• Support and partner with the Senior People Lead on defining and executing global and local policy and change initiatives and understanding the impacts of planned changes.
• Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering functional priorities and plans, providing strategic guidance.
• Create change strategy and lead complex transformation initiatives.
• Translate Mondelēz's global and MENAP people priorities into locally relevant, high-impact commercial initiatives.

Talent Management & Development

• Lead and advise on talent management practices within the assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning, talent mobility and approval of job requisitions.
• Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence.
• Lead initiatives that celebrate the richness of Saudi culture and create an environment where local commercial leaders and talent can flourish and grow into senior roles.
• Experience building and executing local talent development strategies that create sustainable pipelines of homegrown commercial leaders.
• Co-own the KSA commercial plan from a people lens, ensuring the right talent, structure and capabilities to win at the point of sale and with customers.

Commercial Alignment & Insights

• Provide strategic people insights on route-to-market evolution, distributor workforce models and commercial team effectiveness.
• Support Commercial/Sales organizations with deep understanding of sales team rhythm, quarterly target pressure and what it takes to build a winning go-to-market machine.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of the KSA commercial ecosystem—its retail landscape, talent market, cultural dynamics, workforce regulations and national economic aspirations.

Engagement & Culture

• Foster a locally authentic, globally connected commercial culture where every colleague feels they belong.
• Drive engagement action planning across the commercial organization and ensure the workplace reflects the values and aspirations of the communities served.

Data & Operational Support

• Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support delivery of operational processes and insights; translate data into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy.
• Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in the market.

Compliance & Works Council Relations

• Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements.
• Ensure full alignment with local labor regulations, workforce development frameworks and government workforce initiatives—staying ahead of evolving requirements that impact the commercial workforce.

Strategic Advisory

• Act as a trusted advisor to the KSA Commercial Director and Commercial Leadership Team, embedding the people agenda into every commercial decision.
• Consult on overhead management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• 12+ years of progressive HR/People experience with a strong track record in a fast-paced FMCG, CPG or multinational environment.
• Proven experience supporting Commercial/Sales organizations.
• Experience working within the KSA market with strong local networks and community connections.
• Strong expertise in talent management, organizational development and change leadership within a commercial context.
• This role will be hired in compliance with the local Saudization Policy.
