Role Purpose
To provide expert hair care services that enhance customer appearance and confidence, delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized consultation, innovative treatments, and a commitment to care and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate styles, services, and products.
- Consult and provide expert input at every stage of the styling process, advising on colour, style, hair type, and treatments.
- Cut, trim, and style customer hair to specification.
- Provide hair coloration services ranging from basic to artistic colorations and highlights.
- Perform permanent straightening and wave treatments using specialized products.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Maintain relationships with key customers and detailed records of treatments, hair color shades, and permanent wave formulas used.
- Coordinate with receptionists to maximize the number of appointments per day.
Professional Development & Standards
- Stay current on the latest styles and trends.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products used or sold in the salon.
- Maintain personal grooming standards and uphold cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon at all times.
Team Leadership
- Guide and supervise hair and salon assistants to ensure they maintain the salon's standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school qualification.
- Formal hairdressing qualification (City & Guilds Level 2).
- 3–4 years of hair cutting experience in a reputable salon.
Skills & Competencies
- Passion for hairdressing, style, and trends.
- Pleasant personality and good grooming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
