Role Overview
Senior Frontend Engineer at TAWANTECH. This role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing high-quality frontend applications that deliver secure, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences, while ensuring alignment with technical standards, architecture, and business requirements.
Role Purpose
To design, develop, and enhance high-quality frontend applications that deliver secure, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences, while ensuring alignment with technical standards, architecture, and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Architecture
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing frontend applications using React and React Native.
- Build reusable components and shared libraries to improve consistency across products.
- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional, accessible interfaces.
- Own delivery of complex features end to end, from UI design handoff through production release.
Integration & Backend Collaboration
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
Security & Compliance
- Apply client-side security practices for authentication, session handling, and sensitive data.
Mobile Release Management
- Manage mobile release cycles across App Store and Google Play, including native build configuration.
Quality & Performance
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility standards.
- Optimize application performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot complex frontend and device-specific issues and implement durable fixes.
Code Quality & Standards
- Conduct code reviews and uphold frontend engineering standards across the squad.
- Support automated testing, CI/CD, and production issue resolution.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of frontend engineering experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong React and React Native proficiency.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency.
- State management expertise.
- Git version control.
- Hands-on experience with native build tooling (Xcode, Android Studio) — good to have.
- App store releases experience — good to have.
