Role Purpose

Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and multi-disciplinary construction projects, analyze project specifications and requirements, develop competitive tender submissions, and identify cost-saving opportunities to support project delivery and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and multi-disciplinary construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns and value engineering proposals.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts aligned with project timelines.

Bidding & Commercial Strategy

• Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities during the bidding process.

Coordination & Optimization

• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure cost optimization and resource alignment.
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to maintain competitive advantage.

Systems & Compliance

• Implement digital estimation tools and maintain updated cost databases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a contracting company, with strong exposure to both estimation and QS functions.
• Proven track record preparing estimates and managing commercial aspects of medium to large-scale projects.
• Professional certifications such as RICS, MRICS, or FIDIC training are highly preferred.
• Experience in UAE/GCC contracting industry is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project execution, and commercial frameworks.
• Proficiency with digital estimation tools and cost database management.
• Risk analysis and value engineering capability.
