Role Overview
Senior English Copywriter at Dentsu, Digital Republic, based in Riyadh. Full-time, permanent position.
Role Purpose
Conceptualize and realize ideas through comprehensive use of language and the written word. Think holistically about how ideas come to life across all creative channels of consumer experience. Develop short-form and long-form copy to establish tonality, mentor junior team members, and encourage learning.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Development
- Write narratives, scripts, storyboards, annotations, and treatments.
- Develop language and copy in short form and long form to establish the tonality of ideas.
- Execute creative concepts together with Art Director at the direction of the creative director.
Communication & Presentation
- Express ideas with clarity, on brand, on message, and targeted to audience.
- Present ideas to both the wider internal team and, occasionally, externally to clients with structure and parity.
Brand & Strategy
- Comprehend and understand brand continuity, brand guidelines, and brand positioning.
- Proactively identify opportunities for creative work to be performed for clients, with guidance from seniors and directors.
Quality & Collaboration
- Drive, define, and feed back on quality of briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality, and collaboration.
- Creatively support the effective use of technology and its applications to solve business problems.
- Contribute work to pitches.
Mentorship
- Act as mentor to junior members of the team and encourage learning.
