Role Overview
Senior Engineering Supervisor at Hilton, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the physical building and systems maintenance and repairs while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Role Purpose
To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the efficient operation of the Engineering Department while maintaining exceptional service standards, operational reliability, safety compliance, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Maintain all equipment and systems according to required specifications.
- Ensure effective implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor HLP (Heat, Light, and Power) consumption daily and control avoidable energy waste during shifts.
- Optimize energy savings by implementing energy conservation initiatives.
- Utilize resources efficiently and minimize unnecessary repair and maintenance expenses.
- Ensure timely receipt of materials and spare parts through consistent follow-up with the purchasing department.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all Engineering standards, policies, and guidelines are strictly followed.
- Establish and ensure compliance with engineering systems, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure immediate and appropriate response to any fire, smoke, or service interruptions during shift.
- Ensure all employees are fully trained in departmental systems, procedures, and safety requirements.
Service Delivery & Guest Focus
- Maintain a high customer service focus by approaching all tasks with customers' needs in mind.
- Ensure operational areas meet high service standards for guests and internal teams.
- Attend to guest and interdepartmental requests or complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Take personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues while clearly communicating with both customers and colleagues.
Staffing & Scheduling
- Prepare duty schedules for shift staff and allocate jobs to maximize productivity.
- Ensure all departmental employees perform according to organizational standards.
Performance & Development
- Utilize the appraisal system to review staff performance and identify development needs.
- Encourage development of multi-functional skills among subordinates.
- Ensure continuous technical and behavioral training for all department employees.
- Ensure staff attend trainings in their own and related areas to improve skills and support multifunctionality.
- Personally conduct key technical trainings relevant to assigned trades.
- Provide counseling to subordinates on personal and work-related matters.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend improvements to systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Attend behavioral and vocational trainings to enhance personal skills and promote multifunctionality.

- Maintain a strong team focus by demonstrating cooperation and support toward colleagues in pursuit of departmental goals.
- Maintain an environment that encourages creativity, consistency, and high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
