Role Purpose

Oversee electrical infrastructure projects across the UAE, supervising and inspecting electrical works to ensure all systems comply with design specifications, quality benchmarks, and relevant authority standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Inspection

• Supervise and inspect electrical works on infrastructure projects, including low and high voltage networks, street lighting systems, power distribution, and telecommunications infrastructure
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to verify compliance with design specifications and quality benchmarks

Approvals and Compliance

• Review and approve electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and construction method statements in accordance with project specifications and local authority requirements
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with DEWA, Etisalat, DU, RTA, and other relevant UAE authority standards and regulations

Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams to integrate electrical work seamlessly with civil and mechanical construction activities
• Participate in technical meetings, authority inspections, and coordination sessions related to electrical utilities and network operations

Documentation and Validation

• Validate as-built documentation and field conditions in coordination with site inspection teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience supervising electrical infrastructure projects, particularly in power distribution, utilities, and telecommunications networks
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards and regulations, including DEWA, Etisalat, DU, RTA, and municipal requirements

Skills & Competencies

• Expert-level understanding of LV and HV electrical systems, street lighting design, and power distribution networks
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with ability to liaise effectively with contractors, consultants, and government authorities
