Role Overview
Senior Engineer, Civil Maintenance at ADNOC, Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose
To plan, develop, and implement civil scope of work for tender packages and maintenance projects, lead implementation of company civil maintenance standards and policies, mentor UAE Nationals in Civil Engineering, and manage cross-functional teams and contractors to deliver civil maintenance projects on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Scope Development
- Plan and develop civil scope of work for tender packages.
- Implement economical solutions in accordance with business processes and policy requirements.
- Ensure identification of well-defined project requirements and deliverables in compliance with company standards and specifications.
Standards and Policy Implementation
- Lead the implementation of company standards and policies related to Civil Maintenance.
Talent Development
- Mentor and develop UAE Nationals in Civil Engineering to aid ADNOC Sour gas in achieving Emiratization targets.
Project Execution
- Initiate, plan, and supervise cross-functional teams and contractors to implement all aspects of Civil Maintenance Projects within the constraints of schedule, scope, and budget.
- Plan, initiate, monitor, and control the Maintenance Management system related to Civil Maintenance support services to plant operations and other customers.
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Initiate, plan, determine, document, and finalize contracts to support the Maintenance Manager in accordance with the acquisition plan required for civil Maintenance services.
- Perform analysis based on a variety of factors including technical competency, experience, and HSE performance to select potential bidders and material vendors from the company commercial directory.
- Request expression of interest and obtain necessary site management approvals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years of experience in Civil maintenance, concrete rehabilitation, roads, infrastructure, fireproofing, and non-metallic utility piping repair works within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
