Role Overview
Senior Engineer, Civil at ADNOC, supporting civil and structural engineering activities for ADNOC Refining's strategic capital projects.
Role Purpose
Provide technical expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting to ensure high standards and best practices across all company divisions for civil and structural engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for civil discipline.
- Review civil, structural, and architectural documents across project phases.
- Conduct gap analysis for ADNOC Group Engineering Standards (AGES).
- Provide technical support through the Technical Authority framework.
Project & Operations Support
- Troubleshoot plant issues related to structures, foundations, and underground services.
- Evaluate design changes, cost optimization, and value improvement proposals.
- Ensure compliance with international and ADNOC standards.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Review technical bids and pre-qualification of vendors and consultants.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Contribute to budgets, performance management, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical and communication skills.
- Knowledge of structural analysis tools and software.
