Role Overview
Senior ELV Engineer at Egis Group in Dubai, UAE. The role leads the execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage systems, ICT, SCADA, Building Management Systems, and Life Safety Systems across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

Role Purpose
To lead the end-to-end execution and commissioning of ELV, ICT, SCADA, BMS, and Life Safety systems while ensuring full compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, quality standards, and delivery milestones, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Execution & Supervision
- Manage the end-to-end execution of ELV and Life Safety systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local authority regulations, and quality standards.
- Provide site supervision and monitor installation activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
- Supervise the installation, testing, integration, and commissioning of ELV systems, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure QA/QC compliance through inspections, testing, documentation, and implementation of corrective actions where required.
- Conduct system performance evaluations and troubleshoot technical issues effectively to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Perform quality assurance testing and validation of system components, interfaces, and integrated solutions.
- Ensure all works comply with UAE authority requirements, DEWA standards, relevant codes, and international best practices.
Technical Review & Approvals
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions, and RFIs.
Coordination & Integration
- Coordinate and oversee works related to SCADA Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), ICT & ELV Systems, ISP/OSP Networks, and Structured Cabling Systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
Documentation & Handover
- Maintain accurate project documentation, technical records, reports, and handover documentation.
Leadership & Development
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in ELV system execution and engineering, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Authority regulations, including DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in large-scale commercial, residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, QA/QC procedures, and project delivery processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in multidisciplinary project coordination and client-facing roles.
