Role Overview
Senior Electrical & LV Engineer at JASARA PMC, based in Saudi Arabia. You will design, implement, and manage electrical and low-voltage systems for infrastructure projects, ensuring successful execution and quality delivery.
Role Purpose
To lead the design, implementation, and management of electrical and low-voltage systems across various infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards while supporting overall project success and community infrastructure enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Design and oversee the implementation of electrical and low-voltage systems in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Establish strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices, including LV systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for electrical systems.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical reports, and project documentation.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Collaborate with project teams to define technical requirements and establish detailed design specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with overall project designs.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones by managing design schedules and budgets effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Support & Quality Assurance
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including inspections and testing.
- Maintain detail-oriented focus with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
People & Development
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
- Lead design teams.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to electrical and low-voltage engineering.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical and low-voltage engineering, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Experience in project management and leading design teams is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and practices, including LV systems.
- Proficiency in using engineering design software and tools.
- In-depth understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
