Role Purpose

Lead the electrical design scope across infrastructure, buildings, and transport projects. Provide technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and ensure delivery excellence in compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Technical Delivery

• Lead the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, earthing, and lightning protection.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Conduct electrical calculations including load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges using industry best practices.

Compliance and Coordination

• Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Code, and other authority requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Team Leadership and Development

• Supervise junior engineers and ensure adherence to delivery standards and procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide professional development.

Client and Project Management

• Maintain client relationships and ensure repeat business through excellent service and delivery.
• May be responsible for smaller or routine projects as Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority requirements and international codes.
• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
