Role Overview
AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer—Design to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role supports infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in the GCC, including planning, designing, and engineering of dry utilities networks such as power (MV/LV), substations, electrical networks, renewable energy resources, street lighting, and telecommunications.

Role Purpose
To provide technical expertise and engineering support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC region, ensuring design excellence, compliance with health and safety standards, and successful project delivery from tender through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Engineering Support
- Provide technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
- Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.
- Support in designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Assemble and analyze data to inform engineering decisions.
Project Performance & Reporting
- Report on project performance.
Health, Safety & Team Development
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team.
- Assist in developing a highly motivated and performing team creating opportunities for the development of individuals.
Stakeholder Management
- Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of design experience in a similar role or project.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to process paper and electronic documents and utilize computer equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux Software, Revit/BIM (a plus).
