Role Overview

Senior Manager – Planning and Design at Qiddiya Investment Company.

Role Purpose

Develop and implement design guidelines, strategies, and governance across all development projects. Coordinate with the Design Director and project teams to ensure design goals are achieved on time and within budget while maintaining alignment with Qiddiya's master plan.

Key Responsibilities

Design Strategy and Guidelines

• Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director.
• Ensure development and successful implementation of design plan in order to ensure successful achievement of design goals for all assigned projects.
• Advise leadership team on the most suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution and contract administration in coordination with the Design Director.
• Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies in order to ensure efficient completion of project as and when needed.

Project Coordination and Oversight

• Ensure coordination between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to ensure alignment to Qiddiya's master plan.
• Provide support to the design, development and construction teams regarding the development schedules, budgets and plans.
• Ensure periodic internal design reviews in order to ensure alignment with overall plan and take corrective actions when needed.
• Review design related deliverables and provide recommendations as and when needed in order to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
• Minimum 9–12 total years of relevant experience.
