Role Overview
Senior Cortex Developer at TAWANTECH, Riyadh, On-Site. This is a senior-level position requiring 5–10+ years of overall software development experience, with a mandatory minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically with the Cortex platform.
Role Purpose
Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end Cortex-based solutions that meet enterprise business requirements. Act as a technical subject matter expert and leader, driving architecture decisions, complex implementations, and performance optimization while mentoring junior developers and ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cortex Development & Customization
- Design and develop advanced solutions using Cortex platform capabilities.
- Customize Cortex modules based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop reusable components, workflows, and services within the Cortex ecosystem.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of Cortex applications.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead system design and architecture discussions for Cortex implementations.
- Define technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Identify optimization opportunities and improve system efficiency.
- Ensure secure and robust system design.
Integration & APIs
- Integrate Cortex with core banking systems, third-party applications, and external APIs.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP services.
- Handle data exchange, transformation, and synchronization across systems.
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Analyze system performance and resolve bottlenecks.
- Debug and fix complex technical issues in Cortex environments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Deployment & DevOps
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Manage version control and release cycles.
- Ensure smooth migration between environments (Dev / UAT / Production).
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10+ years of overall experience in software development.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically with the Cortex platform (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on experience with Cortex platform end-to-end.
- Deep understanding of Cortex architecture, modules, and configurations.
- Experience in Cortex customization, workflows, and integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Cortex-based systems.
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience (core banking environment) is highly preferred.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in one or more of: Java, .NET, or Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and Web Services (SOAP).
- Solid experience with SQL and database design.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating Cortex with enterprise systems.
- Understanding of middleware and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with API gateways and service orchestration.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure) is a plus.
