Role Overview
Senior Civil Engineer at AECOM, based in the UAE. The role oversees supervision, construction, and successful delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure initiatives, with specialized expertise in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects.

Role Purpose
To plan, manage, and supervise all civil construction activities for Sewage Treatment Plant projects, ensuring strict alignment with project timelines, quality standards, approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Management
- Plan, manage, and supervise all civil construction activities for STP projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards
- Review and analyze IFC drawings, structural plans, specifications, bills of quantities, method statements, and project schedules
Construction Supervision & Compliance
- Ensure all civil works are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
- Supervise construction of STP infrastructure including inlet and outlet structures, screening systems, aeration tanks, clarifiers, sludge treatment facilities, filtration units, pump rooms, control buildings, and ancillary civil works
Site Activities & Logistics
- Manage excavation, shoring, dewatering, compaction, and site preparation activities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- Extensive experience supervising sewage treatment plant and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated expertise in managing excavation, shoring, dewatering, compaction, and site preparation activities
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in reviewing technical documentation including structural drawings, specifications, and construction schedules
- Expertise in sewage treatment plant and wastewater infrastructure project supervision
