Role Overview
Senior Cardiac Ablation Solutions Technical Consultant at Medtronic. This is a field-based clinical and technical support role focused on the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System within our fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment.

Role Purpose
Support the growth and adoption of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System by providing expert clinical and technical guidance to physicians, electrophysiology lab staff, and hospital stakeholders. Drive successful technology implementation, training, and case management across the cardiac ablation business.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical and Technical Support
- Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance to physicians and Electrophysiology Lab Staff on the use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, PFA, and Cryo technology.
- Deliver in-service training to introduce new technologies to various hospital stakeholders and ensure technology acceptance.
- Work closely with the education team to support the development of training centers.
- Plan cases and define priorities to maximize case coverage.
Operations and Installation
- Play an active role in the planning and effective installation of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System.
- Collaborate efficiently with the technical department.
- Manage high-stress situations with a clear problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required in electrical engineering, medical engineering, or related scientific disciplines.
- 5+ years of clinical Electrophysiology experience.
- Successful independent support of Electrophysiology mapping procedures.
- Fluency in English.
