Senior Business Development Manager at Ripple, based in the Middle East & Africa region.

Role Purpose
Drive regional growth for Ripple's newly launched stablecoin (RLUSD) and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization on the XRP Ledger by developing strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, enterprises, and crypto-native companies. Lead complex deals independently while collaborating across global teams to bring financial assets on-chain.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute Ripple's business development strategy to grow and support RLUSD and the portfolio of natively issued high-quality RWAs on the XRP Ledger.
- Develop strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, digital exchanges, PSPs, enterprises, and crypto-native companies.
- Prove success in developing first-of-a-kind partnerships and closing complex deals.
Deal Management
- Lead deals from end to end, including sourcing, analyzing, negotiating commercial contracts, and presenting to leadership.
- Manage strategic partners both internally and externally through deal implementation.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, customer success, compliance, legal, and finance to deliver high-quality partners and ensure smooth deal execution.
- Be the primary liaison for partners and prospects in the Middle East & Africa region.
- Represent Ripple at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and sales in Banking, Finance, Tech, Consulting, and/or Crypto.
- Relevant experience in Traditional Finance (Trad-Fi), FinTech, and digital assets.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent helpful.
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies, tokenization, and stablecoins.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Extensive network with key contacts in financial services, payments, and crypto.
- Collaborative approach with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with change, proactive problem solver, and strong decision-making skills.
- Self-directed, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and able to work independently as part of a cross-functional team.
