Role Overview
Egis Group seeks a Senior Bridge Engineer with 5–10 years of structures engineering experience to join its Middle East team. The role is based within Egis MESA, which operates across 8 countries in the region with 3,500 employees.

Role Purpose
Design and deliver transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, and box culverts. Lead technical analysis and coordinate across internal teams and client stakeholders to integrate structural solutions into multi-disciplinary projects while contributing to team leadership and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design and Analysis
- Complete analysis and design of various transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, and box culverts.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Own projects and lead the preparation of plans, reports, and specifications.
Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring strong communication throughout the design process.
- Serve as a client liaison, attending meetings, presenting solutions, and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Lead meetings and coordinate with diverse stakeholders to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination
- Work closely with transportation, environmental, and planning teams on multi-disciplinary projects to integrate structural solutions into broader project contexts.
Team Leadership and Development
- Mentor and support team members through knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development efforts.
- Support proposal efforts and leverage established industry relationships with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is preferred.
- 5–10 years of previous Bridge & Structures Engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications is required.
- Project Management experience and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members is highly valued.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in applicable bridge design software and structural analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other applicable software common to the field of structural and civil engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Proven ability to lead meetings and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
