Role Overview

Senior BIM/CAD Specialist – Roads & Civil Infrastructure at Surbana Jurong Group. The role provides technical leadership for BIM and CAD delivery across major roads, highways, interchanges, junctions, ramps, and civil infrastructure projects.

Role Purpose

To lead Civil 3D modelling and BIM delivery for complex roads and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence, multidisciplinary coordination, quality assurance, and team capability development.

Key Responsibilities

Civil 3D Modelling & Design

• Lead Civil 3D modelling for roads, highways, junctions, interchanges, ramps, and access roads.
• Develop surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, cross-sections, and quantities.
• Prepare coordinated plans, profiles, long sections, setting-out, grading, road marking, and signage drawings.

Coordination & Integration

• Coordinate road models with drainage, utilities, traffic, geotechnical, survey, and landscape teams.
• Manage model coordination, clash detection, QA/QC, templates, styles, data shortcuts, and BIM workflows.

Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor BIM/CAD team members and support digital delivery, resource planning, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of relevant BIM/CAD experience in roads, highways, and civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience on major UAE and/or KSA infrastructure projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills, with strong knowledge of road modelling and drawing production.
• Proficiency in Navisworks Manage and experience with ACC, BIM 360, or ProjectWise.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, ISO 19650, QA/QC, multidisciplinary coordination, and CDE procedures.
