Role Purpose
Senior Bay Hosts provide best-in-class service and hospitality to guests, combining technical expertise in menu knowledge and service with genuine engagement to make visits memorable. They assist guests in understanding and enjoying gameplay, introduce them to food and beverage options, and ensure every interaction reflects outstanding attention to detail and care.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Engagement
- Greet every guest immediately in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Engage with guests and ensure they are well cared for at all times.
- Make guests feel welcome and facilitate memorable visits.
- Assist guests in understanding and enjoying the game, including safety rules, bay features and game demo.
- Gather feedback at every opportunity and relay it to Hospitality Managers.
Bay Management & Preparation
- Ensure bays are clean and ready for guests.
- Maintain a smooth and efficient service at all times.
Food & Beverage Service
- Offer food and beverages to guests.
- Suggest premium menu items to enhance the guest's experience and maximize revenue.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and ability to serve with outstanding attention to detail.
Financial Handling
- Demonstrate care and efficiency in handling cash and credit cards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury in the venue.
- Report immediately any hazards or potential hazards, including maintenance requirements.
- Protect guests and community by observing the rules of responsible alcohol service.
- Adhere to service standards: timeliness, quality, accuracy, sanitation.
Standards & Professional Conduct
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company dress standards (including name badge) and high standards of personal hygiene.
- Project positivity and have fun.
- Be aware of and demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision and Core Values.
- Be aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Steps and 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
Operations & Communications
- Attend daily pre-shift and department meetings.
- Assist with clearing and relaying tables when required.
Information Security
- Read, understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
- Cooperate, coordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- Report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) immediately to the IT Service Desk.

Reporting & Supervision
- Reports to: Hospitality Manager, Assistant Hospitality Manager.
- Supervises: Not applicable.
Ancillary Duties
- Participate in various extra activities contributing towards individual and organizational growth.
- Represent the department or group in various committees such as Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects.
- May be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.
