Role Overview
Senior Bartender at Wasl Hospitality & Leisure (Viya), Food & Beverage Service Department. Reports to Hospitality Manager or Assistant Hospitality Manager. Based at Topgolf Dubai or other Viya hospitality venues in the UAE.

Role Purpose
Senior Bartenders deliver best-in-class hospitality and service to guests while demonstrating expert technical knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine. They maintain an appealing, guest-ready bar area and serve as hosts who engage guests, introduce premium food and beverage options, and create memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Engagement
- Greet every guest immediately in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Engage with guests and ensure they are well cared for at all times.
- Project positivity and make guests feel welcome.
- Suggest premium menu items to enhance the guest's experience and maximize sales.
Beverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve drinks promptly according to Topgolf recipes and standards.
- Take pride in preparing and serving drinks.
- Offer food and beverages from the bar.
- Maintain knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and beverage offerings.
Bar Operations & Maintenance
- Set up and maintain all beverage service areas including bars, non-alcoholic beverage stations, and F&B storage areas.
- Ensure the bar remains stocked, organized, and sanitary.
- Wash, polish, and store all glassware appropriately, minimizing the risk of breakage.
- Perform ordering, inventory, and control of beverage product and supplies.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Protect guests and community by observing the rules of responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain accurate spill logs throughout shift to properly manage waste.
- Ensure that all breakages and wastages are recorded in writing.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury in the venue.
- Ensure good food hygiene practices are maintained at all times.
- Adhere to service standards including timeliness, quality, accuracy, and sanitation.
Cash & Payment Handling
- Be careful and efficient in handling cash and credit cards.

- Be aware of and demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
- Be aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.
Information Security
- Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
- Cooperate, coordinate, and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- Report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) immediately to the IT Service Desk.
Additional Contributions
- Participate in various extra activities contributing toward individual and organizational growth in line with the club's strive for continuous improvement.
- Represent the department or a group in various committees such as Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, or Sport Committee.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
- Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider as requested.
Skills & Competencies
- Expert knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine.
- Proficiency in Topgolf cocktail recipes and beverage preparation standards.
- Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills.
- Cash and credit card handling accuracy.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Food hygiene and health and safety awareness.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service.
Additional Information
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- May be requested to participate in Fire Marshall or First Aider training.
- Must comply with wasl Hospitality & Leisure information security policies and procedures.
