Role Overview
Senior Barista at MIRA Construction in Dubai, UAE, full-time position. This role leads the coffee service team while preparing premium quality beverages and maintaining high standards of customer service and café operations.
Role Purpose
To prepare and serve premium quality coffee and specialty beverages, supervise and mentor junior baristas, and ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence across café functions.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Quality
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and specialty beverages to the highest standard.
- Deliver exceptional knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment operation.
- Assist in developing new coffee recipes and beverage offerings.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor junior baristas, providing training and support.
- Manage team performance in a fast-paced environment.
Operations & Compliance
- Manage inventory and order supplies.
- Ensure equipment is maintained.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation area.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a barista.
- At least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment operation, and beverage preparation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
