Role Purpose

Lead architectural design projects from concept development through to construction completion, ensuring compliance with project requirements, design standards, and regulatory guidelines while providing technical guidance to junior architects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development & Documentation

• Lead architectural design projects from concept development through to construction completion, ensuring compliance with project requirements, design standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and constructability.
• Prepare design presentations, reports, and documentation for client meetings and project stakeholders.

Site Supervision & Construction Monitoring

• Conduct site assessments, surveys, and investigations to gather data and inform design decisions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
• Review and evaluate contractor submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and proposed design changes.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and landscape architects, to integrate architectural designs into overall project plans.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address architectural design requirements, resolve technical issues, and obtain necessary approvals.

Team Leadership & Development

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design team members.

Professional Development

• Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in architectural design and construction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for building projects.
• Strong background in site supervision for Mega projects including residential, commercial, buildings, and malls.
• Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional licensure or registration as an Architect is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong design skills and proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
