Role Overview
Senior Arabic Copywriter at Dentsu, Digital Republic, Riyadh. Full-time, permanent position.
Role Purpose
Conceptualise and realise ideas through comprehensive use of language and the written word. Think holistically about how ideas come to life across all creative channels of consumer experience. Develop language and copy in short and long form to establish tonality of ideas, and act as mentor to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Development
- Write narratives, scripts, storyboards, annotations and treatments.
- Develop language and copy in short form and long form.
- Express ideas with clarity, on brand, on message and targeted to audience.
- Execute creative concepts together with Art Director at the direction of the creative director.
Brand & Strategic Alignment
- Comprehend and understand brand continuity, brand guidelines and brand positioning.
- Creatively support the effective use of technology and its applications to solve business problems.
Collaboration & Presentation
- Present ideas to both the wider internal team and, occasionally, externally to clients with structure and parity.
- Drive, define and feed back on quality of briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality and collaboration.
Business Development & Growth
- Contribute work to pitches.
- Proactively identify opportunities for creative work to be performed for clients, with guidance from seniors and directors.
Mentorship
- Act as mentor to junior members of the team and encourage learning.
