Senior Accountant at Wood PLC, based in the Khobar Office in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue processes for project-based work, ensuring accurate month-end closing, compliance with internal controls, and effective coordination across finance and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Review and validate AR and AP transactions processed by the Shared Services team.
- Monitor ageing, collections status, and supplier balances in an oversight role.
Revenue Management
- Handle revenue activities end-to-end, including revenue recognition calculations, month-end revenue entries, project-related reconciliations, and contract assets and liabilities tracking.
Month-End Close
- Prepare month-end closing journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Shared Services, Project Controls, and Finance teams as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Good understanding of AR, AP, and Revenue processes.
- Good experience in Oracle ERP.
- Expert with management reporting and statutory reporting.
