As the Security Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of our dealership. - Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing effective supervision and guidance.
- Develop and implement security plans and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe environment.
- Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and take appropriate action.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and customer complaints, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of security-related activities, including incident reports and security logs.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into daily operations and special events.
- Train and educate staff on security protocols, ensuring a culture of awareness and preparedness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in security management, implementing innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- A recognized security certification or relevant qualification, such as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Manager (CSM).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in using security technology and systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- A thorough understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the nature of the role.
- A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
