Role Purpose

Lead security operations during assigned shifts across all resort properties. Control and coordinate security personnel, respond to emergencies on behalf of the Security Manager, conduct investigations, and ensure full compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures aligned with brand and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol and Coverage

• Conduct security patrol within the resort.
• Inspect each security post periodically to ensure full coverage by designated hosts or uniformed outsourced guards.

Personnel Coordination

• Assist in controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing resort properties, guests, hosts and residential owners.
• Coordinate activities of all uniformed outsourced guards engaged in the implementation of management, safety and security procedures.
• Follow the instructions of the Security Manager.

Emergency Response and Investigation

• Represent the Security Manager while on shift in handling emergency cases at the resort in accordance with resort policy.
• Conduct preliminary investigation of any incidents.
• Keep all investigations confidential and submit to the Security Manager.
• Inform the Security Manager of any incidents that have occurred in the resort.

Documentation and Reporting

• Review all security reports submitted at the end of shift to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Record in the logbook all unusual incidents arising in the resort for action taken.
• Prepare, update and maintain security reports and incident reports.

Policy Compliance and Enforcement

• Enforce all lost control manual and resort policies and procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to LQA standards.
• Conduct random bag inspections of hosts, vendors and suppliers entering and leaving the resort.
• Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, preventing resort assets from being removed without proper authority.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to the position in line with brand and statutory requirements.

Equipment and Facilities Management

• Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Check that all fire and life safety equipment is within expiry limits, including handheld chemical extinguishers.

Guest and Data Protection

• Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners.
• Apply an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data.
• Use confidential information only to perform job duties.

Team Engagement

• Fully understand team goals and objectives, ensuring maximum effort to achieve targets.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Upsell all resort facilities and activities.

Personal Standards

• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within security operations.
• Proven results in a similar role in luxury hotels.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong administrative skills, including maintaining records and documentation.
• Excellent communication in the English language.
• Team leadership skills.
• Professional handling of security incidents.
• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
