Scaffolder (Bridge Maintenance) with Egis Group, operating through Waagner Biro Bridge Services in the UAE.

Role Purpose
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures to provide safe access for inspection, repair, and rehabilitation works on bridges and related infrastructure throughout the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Scaffolding Installation and Maintenance
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures including towers, platforms, guardrails, and access systems.
- Ensure scaffolding is stable, properly braced, and safely secured at all times.
- Carry out daily checks and report any defects or unsafe conditions.
Project Execution
- Follow approved drawings, method statements, and supervisor instructions.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and organizing scaffolding materials.
- Support bridge maintenance works such as concrete repair, inspection, and painting by providing safe access.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of scaffolding experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in bridge maintenance or highway projects preferred.
- Scaffolding certification (CISRS / OSHA / equivalent) preferred.
- UAE experience in infrastructure or bridge projects preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
- Basic knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, and safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials.
- Familiarity with modular and tube-and-fitting scaffolding systems.
